Goodbye OSU :(

Hey Mom!

Congratulations to all the groups going to State! State is always a blast. I'm so excited for the groups. They are gonna do a great job. How is union lacrosse doing this year?

So we got a call from the assistants a few minutes ago and they told us that we are being doubled out. Pretty sad about it. We got doubled in and were here for 12 weeks and now we are both leaving! And they are only having 4 sets of missionaries on campus this upcoming transfer so we are just splitting up our investigators among the remaining missionaries. Pretty crazy. I definitely wasn't expecting that. We will find out tomorrow where we are getting transferred to. I'm pretty sad that I don't get to teach Mason again. But I trust that this is what the Lord needs at this time.

Well the week was a pretty good week!

On Thursday we had district meeting which is always fun. We had a great lesson with Mason. He is doing really well. I am so excited for him. I love Mason. We went contacting the rest of the day which was fun! We met a really awesome person that already has a Book of Mormon. So she was interested in meeting with us. (But I guess it's not gonna be us anymore, it'll be some other missionaries).

Friday was an interesting day. It was freezing cold this morning and both Elder Morse and I were so tired. After our first contacting session from 11:00 to 1:00 we were so dead. After lunch and comp study we decided to stop by the UDF and both bought a 16 oz. Mountain dew. We chugged them and then went out contacting hahaha. The day really turned around! That day we ended up handing out 6 copies of the book of Mormon. One of the people we talked to we actually taught the entire first lesson about the restoration on our first contact. He is so cool! It was a really successful day. And I know that it wasn't actually the mountain dew that made it successful it was us putting in the effort even though we were tired and the Lord blessed us and strengthened us. But that mountain dew did taste good haha!

Saturday there was a bunch of lacrosse games going on on the fields. I wanted to play so bad.  We contacted a lot of people and then we had a few lessons. We had weekly planning and then we had dinner with a member. It was a delicious vegetable lasagna.

Sunday was awesome! We had stake conference and Elder Taylor from the seventy spoke. It was amazing. Mason came to stake conference and he got to meet him and he loved it. It was a really cool experience. We had dinner at the Jeffries' house. That was the first time I had eaten in a house in 12 weeks. They had a dog and everything! Crazy! Nothing else too exciting happened the rest of that day.

Monday was a day full of contacting because lessons cancelled. But I love contacting now. It is gonna be so weird to go tracting again... But it should be fun! We met some awesome people and actually got 2 new investigators so that is always fun. Dang I'm gonna miss campus...

Tuesday we had two really good lessons. One with Caitlin and one with mason. We also met this guy that is so solid. He told us that he has actually been looking for a church with his girlfriend and he is so excited to meet with us! I'm sad that I won't be able to see him again but I have faith that whoever ends up teaching him will do a good job. We also talked to a girl from Yakima who has cousins thay go to Prairie High school in Vancouver so that was cool. And we met another guy from Seattle! Two people from Washington! What are the odds of that?

Well, now the rest of the day is gonna be us cleaning and packing and deciding who is gonna teach our investigators. It should be a fun rest of the day. I love you mom! Thank you for everything!

Your son,
Elder Collier
