It's been a great first week! I really love it here. The spirit is so strong and I am learning a lot! I love my companion. Me and him really click and we are already super good friends. He is hilarious. I am pretty sure that me and him will be friends after the mission too which is way cool! Being zone leaders is a little stressful especially because they don't really explain to you what your responsibilities are. On Sunday we had no idea we were supposed to be in charge of priesthood meeting, but it's okay we'll learn! My favorite part of being a zone leaders is that on Wednesday we got to welcome all the new missionaries in our zone. That was really cool to meet all of them and let them know that they are terrified now but that we made it a week and feel fine so they can do the same!

The food is good sometimes. But it goes straight through you that's for sure. Me and my companion have already taught two investigators. We taught by the spirit for the first time in Tuesday and it was such a cool experience. We were able to ask him and teach him things that were actually relevant to him and there was no way we could do that without the Holy Ghost helping us.
I have seen Avery twice already! Once on Wednesday and once yesterday. It is really weird to call her sister Dustin haha! But she looks so happy that made me really happy. It was really nice to be able to talk to her for a bit!
This week went by so fast. I can't believe I have been here for 9 days. I can't wait to get in the field but I love it here too! On Sunday I was really struggling but during sacrament meeting we sang Come Come He Saints and it really hit me. "Though hard to you this journey may appear, grace shall be as your day, 'tis better far for us to strive, our useless cares from us to drive, do this and joy your hearts will swell! All is well! All is well!" That is so true. The joy the gospel brings is so much more than anything the world can bring. Yeah I'm gonna miss movies and sports but I am going to make others so happy and I'll be so happy doing it! I know that this work is the work of God. This campus is absolutely beautiful. The artwork here is amazing. I have never seen most of the painting around. I was looking over the campus one day and I saw all the missionaries and I just thought "I am a part of the most important work in the world right now." And it is true! I get to be a part of God's work and I am so thankful for that.
